Extremely rare Banksy Turf War Showcard.
Released for this show in 2003 in London’s East End. The location of the show was secret until the opening. Held in a warehouse it is considered to be Banksy’s first gallery show.
This show featured a lot of animals as represented on the card with a painted cow. The paint on the cow reads “TO ADVERTISE HERE CALL 0800 BANKSY”.
Additionally printed with “TURF WAR” on reverse and has Queen Elizabeth in a gas mask printed as a postage stamp.
Showcard/ Postcard was only available to attendees of the show.
Comes float framed in clear acrylic block frame (not stuck).
Certificate of Authenticity issued by our gallery included.
CONDITION: Excellent condition as issued. Never displayed. Frame is new.
