USA. Chaz Bojorquez is recognized as being the Godfather of Mexican calligraphy style (cholo). He started tagging and painting the walls in East LA 50 years ago developing his signature style. He has undoubtedly been the inspiration to many of the current calligraphy artists.  He shifted from painting graffiti on the street in the 70’s and focused his energy on canvas. His work is shown from the street to prestigious galleries and museums around the world. His work is rich and detail with complex undertones that must be seen to be appreciated.
